The Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice is a monumental complex showcasing illustrious examples of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque Venetian art and architecture. Established in 1261, it has been the seat of the namesake lay confraternity for over seven centuries and now serves as a museum open to the public.
